Witherly Heights Takes a Walk: A Supreme Dilemma
In Witherly Heights Takes a Walk, our journal goes the extra mile. Our staff, Kimia Faroughi and Akash Sethi, venture into the world beyond 750 Witherly to cull opinions, reactions, snorts and raised eyebrows from people on the streets about our zinging zeigeist.
In this installment of Witherly Heights Takes a Walk, we asked people their opinion on United States Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual misconduct allegations and whether his nomination should be withdrawn if these were found to be true. In light of the recent Senate hearing on September 27 in which Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, one of Kavanaugh’s three accusers, gave a testimony that described how he assaulted her at a high school party in 1982, we also asked interviewees whether or not people should be held accountable for what they did in their high school years.
