Student Setups: A Beginning
By Zach Crawford
Many students in the school have spent time choosing PC parts and making their own pcs and setups for gaming and work. Today, you can check out a showcase of setups from many students in Alsion’s early college. These setups are used for video editing, website management, as well as gaming, and work.
This first setup is from Ayush Hindocha, one of our senior video editors.
Ayush did not provide his PC specs. If you are interested feel free to leave a comment.
This next setup is from Luca Barbacioru, one of our Online Managers.
PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE ATX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB
Storage: Samsung EVO 500 GB and Seagate Barracuda 2 TB
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060
Case: NZXT H510i
PSU: SeaSonic 550 W Platinum Certified
The next setup comes from Vibhav Darsha. A student at Alsion and a friend of mine.
PC Specs:
MSI MPG Z390 gaming edge AC Motherboard
Intel I7 9700K cpu
16 gigs DDR4 Corsair Vengeance RAM
Nvidia GTX 1050
240 gigabyte SSD storage

Thermaltake 650 W PSU
Noctua D15 Fan Cooler
He would also like to add that it was “built by a literal 10 yr old but upgraded overtime with some mid end parts. If you don’t mind replacing parts every couple of years, definitely a good investment.”
The last and final setup is from Ram Charan, one of our Editors-in-chief
PC Specs:
Intel quad-core I7 2.5 GHz
16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L onboard memory
AMD Radeon R9 M370X
1 TB Hard drive Storage
15.4 inch LED Backlit display
If you would like to submit your own setup to be featured feel free to send an email to zacharyc@alsionschool.org with your computer specs as well as some photos of your computer and setup.
