Portfolio: Ami
Our next artist to put together a portfolio is Ami, a ninth-grade student who finds painting to be an easy (and fun!) way to express her creativity. Her favorite medium is acrylic, which constitutes the majority of the pieces in her portfolio, and her minimalist style contains many silhouettes against colorful backgrounds. Her portfolio includes a beautifully done glass painting from the movie Bambi, which embraces the style of animation of the movie. Much of her art is nature-related, and her passion for art shines through in this portfolio.
Artist statement: These are some of my favorite artworks that I have created. A lot of my art consists of animal or nature-related paintings. I usually do a lot of acrylic painting and sometimes do glass painting as well. I enjoy painting since it’s an easy way to express my creativity and have fun with it.
