Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to hit rewind on all of America’s rom com classics! It’s the perfect activity to do by yourself, with friends, or a significant other. Grab a snack and tune into some of the best classics!
- The Notebook (2004)
Nicholas Sparks’ 1996 book of the same name inspired the 2004 American romantic drama film The Notebook. In the movie, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling play a young couple who fall in love in the 1940s. In the present, an elderly man tells a fellow nursing home resident their story, which he reads from a notebook.
- When Harry Met Sally (1989)
The 1989 American love comedy When Harry Met Sally, which stars Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Carrie Fisher, and Bruno Kirby, explores the topic “Can men and women ever just be friends?” by following the main characters from their first meeting in Chicago and their subsequent drive to New York City through twelve years of fortuitous meetings in New York.
