Spending time with Kevin Durant

The following video is a short compilation of pictures and time-lapse footage showing the progress of an art piece I have drawn. The drawing is a concept for a mural featuring NBA superstar Kevin Durant. In the foreground, there are some of the accolades he has received over his illustrious career. At center, Kevin Durant stands crowned as the “king” of basketball, after dethroning LeBron James; this follows Golden State’s triumph in the 2017 NBA finals. In the background, there are multiple sketchings of Durant and a few colorful patterns. There are also two brick walls and a basketball hoop with his name written on the backboard. These elements of the drawing are broken down in the time-lapse and are pieced together towards the end of the video.  This video represents a week of spending time with #35.
