Coffee House at Alsion: Evolution

The Coffee House was an absolute extravaganza! If you missed out on the fun, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered with the highlights. Thrilling games like trivia and exciting challenges, fantastic prizes, and delicious drinks, snacks, desserts, and main courses.

Last year’s coffee house was a fun time for all, but several improvements were made this year to make it an even more enjoyable experience. Both events had several games, performances, and were potlucks. However, compared to this year’s coffee house, last year’s was not very eventful.

Last year’s coffee house was a great gathering for students after the release of the mask mandate. Some activities that were planned included charades, a dance battle, and performances. For the performances it included a karaoke and a music performance. For food, there was only Little Caesars’ pizza provided by ACA since there were still precautions being taken of the COVID virus. 

This year’s coffee house was more eventful and engaging. There were several activities, from trivia, to raffle, to even chubby bunny, a game where people fight to see who can fit the most marshmallows in their mouth and still talk. Along with these activities, there were several entertaining musical performances. Winners of the games and the best performances all got to choose from a pool of prizes. These prizes ranged from led lights, to plushies, to gift cards. People brought a variety of foods, as it was a potluck this time as well. People brought several drinks, snacks, desserts, and main courses. The ACA also 4 bought pizzas from Little Caesars.

This year’s Coffee House event surpassed all expectations, thanks to the participation from our community. While last year’s gathering marked a memorable post-mandate celebration, it is nothing in comparison to the excitement of this year. The addition of the many activities, prizes, and potluck made the event even more excitable. From the thrilling games to the captivating performances, there was never a dull moment.
