Arcade Sidebar: Among Us, Hide and Seek

The Arcade Sidebar will be a recurring feature where the audience is transported into the minds of true connoisseurs of the video gaming world–these experts happen to be a part of our very own student body. The continued investigation of Among Us takes a different turn in this episode. This time, it’s faster, more adrenaline-fueled, and way louder–fair warning for those with headphones. 

Among Us “Hide and Seek” is a custom gamemode in which the crewmates have to try to complete tasks while hiding and running away from the impostor. In this gamemode, there is one impostor that has to reveal themself to the group when the round starts. They have the least amount of vision, making it very hard for them to see but they have a fast kill cooldown. With their fast kill cooldown, they have to run around and try to find crewmates on the ship. While crewmates are finishing their tasks as quickly as possible, they are allowed to report any bodies they find as a way to defend themselves and other crewmates. Talking between each other is allowed and crewmates can strategize with each other in order to escape the impostor.
