- Shin guards ($20-$200 USD)
- Mouth guards ($15-$40 USD)
- Skates ($50-$1200 USD)

Overall, the total price for a total set of gear for a beginner hockey player can range from about $500-$1000.

[ConceptDraw Ice Hockey]: This is a standardized hockey rink.
Rules:
Now you have the gear and know the rink, what are the rules? Each team starts with 6 players on each side: two strikers and 1 goalie. The goal of the game is to score more than the other team. The game is split into 20-minute periods. Offsides if a player enters the offensive zone before the puck. If this rule is broken, the players will have a faceoff in the outside zone, but what is a faceoff? A faceoff is when the ref drops the puck between two players in the designated faceoff zones. Icing is when a team shoots a puck from behind their center line and goes to the other center line, then they will have a face-off on the side of the players who committed icing.
Penalties:
Minor penalty
You get this by tripping, slashing, hooking, and holding
2-minute penalty in the penalty box, the other team gets a power play. A power play is when the other team has one or more players than the other team.
Major penalty
You get one from my dangerous hit, like fighting
5 minutes in the penalty box

Basically, bad behavior like repeated infractions and unsafe play 10-minute penalty
