As graduation approaches, we asked our seniors to pause and look back. In this short string of quotes, they share the surprising, funny, and heartfelt moments they’ll miss most about high school, from spontaneous chats to the comfort of familiar routines.

“I’ll miss my friends and honestly the environment here at Alsion where everyone knows each other. Since I’m going to a large public school I’m not sure if it’ll ever feel like that tight-knit environment again”

  • Ishita Chopra

“The people and friends, the life/experience/community that feels so familiar and comforting/kinda scared of starting new and fresh if that makes sense, wholesome family-like community, teachers, PE”

  • Cally Li

“I’ll miss the life-long friendships I’ve made—the amazing individuals who’ve defined the better part of my life—and one of the strongest communities I’ll ever know”

  • Armaan Sharma

“I don’t think any of us—myself included—fully realize how valuable this community is until we’re about to leave it. The connections I’ve built, with both peers and teachers, makes this place truly special. Looking back, I know I’ll remember not just the big moments like the trips, but also the small, everyday ones.”

“I guess what I will miss are those late night study calls. I’ll miss the people I’ve gotten to know from here. I’ll miss that feeling you get from Alsion’s close knit community”

  • Advaith Karthik

“I’ll miss my close friends and family, and the life that we’ve built over the past 4 years”

  • Amizhtini Arivazhagan
